11 Best Hotels near O’Hare Airport with Free Shuttle

Do you need a hotel near O’Hare with a free airport shuttle? You’ve come to the right place. We’ve collected the best hotels near O’Hare Airport with Free Shuttle. All you need to do is choose the one you need.

O’Hare is one of the biggest airports in the nation. This means that there is an abundance of airport hotels nearby offering shuttle or free shuttle services. However, most of these have varying quality so we’ve decided to make this list with only the best options.

The main factors were: guest satisfaction, price, and of course, the free shuttle. This list has all the hotels you need ranging from cheap options to upscale stays. Whether you want to spend one day or more in your airport hotel, we’ve got you.

1. Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport

Price Range: High

Does it count if the hotel is directly at the airport? Okay, they have a free shuttle to Terminal 5 so it counts right?

In any case, Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport is the sole hotel on the airport grounds. Considering how close this is to the airport you won’t be surprised that it’s also one of the most expensive hotels on this list.

You do get nice amenities for the price though. There is an indoor pool, multiple restaurants, a whirlpool tub, a steam room, and even a fitness center.

The rooms themselves could use an upgrade or two. While they must have been nice in the 90s, today they have fallen out of fashion a little bit. This is also true for the overall maintenance of the place. While it’s at the airport and it has nice amenities it falls behind most other hotels when it comes to maintenance and cleanliness.

Might be the closest one to the airport but at this price point it’s hard to recommend unless you have no other option. If you do choose this one, don’t go in with high expectations then you won’t be disappointed.

Amenities

  • On-site restaurant
  • Indoor Pool
  • Fitness Center
  • Business Center (with Meeting Rooms)
  • Connecting Rooms
  • Pets Allowed

2. The Rose Hotel Chicago O’Hare, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Price Range: Mid-High

Now we are still looking at a Hilton hotel but one that’s a little cheaper and offers a much better stay. While Hilton’s airport hotel might be stuck in the 90s this one is a modern hotel by all accounts.

Everything is designed to be sleek and pleasing to the eye. The common areas are very nice and we absolutely loved the rooms here. They are spacious with nice bathrooms. Of course, this is something we would expect at this price point but as we can see it’s not always a given.

If you don’t mind the price then we can safely recommend this one for any trip whether it’s a short stay or a longer one. Business travelers and couples will enjoy a stay here due to the modern atmosphere and nice amenities.

Their airport shuttle is complimentary with your booking and you can request it 24/7. The only thing we found lacking is the missing swimming pool. It would have been nice to have one.

Amenities

  • On-Site Restaurant
  • Room Service
  • Fitness Center
  • Business Center (with Meeting Rooms)
  • Airport Shuttle
  • Free Wifi
  • Connecting Rooms
  • Pet Friendly

3. Comfort Suites Chicago O’Hare Airport

Price Range: Low

If you are looking for a good value hotel then Comfort Suites Chicago O’Hare Airport will be your pick. It may not be the flashiest or the most modern hotel among the batch but it’s a great option for those who want something simple without paying a lot.

The rooms are a little simple and outdated but maintenance and cleanliness is okay. Bathrooms could be bigger but at this price point, it’s all totally acceptable.

They also have a 24/7 free airport shuttle so you can arrive any time you want. Perfect when you are facing a cancellation.

Amenities

  • Free WiFi
  • Free Hot Breakfast
  • Restaurant
  • Laundry
  • Exercise Room
  • Free Airport Transportation
  • Pet-friendly Hotel
  • Lounge/Bar
  • Meeting Room

4. Embassy Suites Chicago – O’Hare Rosemont

Price Range: Low

Another great budget hotel near O’Hare Airport with a free shuttle. The Embassy Suites offer simple accommodations for travelers who are not looking to spend a fortune.

Once again the rooms might look dated but the comfort level is perfectly fine. It’s not the place to feast your eyes on the sleek design but the place where you can get a good night’s sleep and enjoy some free amenities.

The main issue here seems to be staffing issues. There are way more travelers to handle than staff working at any time. While the staff keeps it professional interactions may be brief in order to have time for everyone.

Oh, and this time around, we do get an indoor pool which is excellent at this price point.

Amenities

  • Free ‘made-to-order’ breakfast
  • On-Site Restaurant
  • Room Service
  • Airport Shuttle
  • Indoor Pool
  • Fitness Center
  • Business Center (with Meeting Rooms)

5. Hampton Inn & Suites Rosemont Chicago O’Hare

Price Range: Mid-High

The local Hampton Inn & Suites is one of the traveler’s favorites among the O’Hare airport hotels. It’s a modern hotel with excellent amenities and one of the best swimming pools on the list.

We recommend Hampton Inn & Suites if you feel like you’ve had it all and you need your airport hotel to be comfortable and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and professional here which adds to the overall experience.

Food in the hotel is also great along with a number of nice restaurants nearby. While the rooms are not updated to the latest fashion, what is there is great. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are nice and spacious.

Overall, this one’s a really nice choice, especially if you want a nice indoor pool. It may not be a swimming pool but it’s great for families to play in.

Amenities

  • Free Hot Breakfast
  • Indoor Pool
  • Fitness Center
  • Meeting Rooms
  • Airport Shuttle
  • Free Wifi
  • Pet Friendly

6. Sheraton Suites Chicago O’Hare

Price Range: Mid

The Sheraton Suites offer a nice midrange pricing with plenty of comforts and a free shuttle from the airport for all guests.

Overall the rooms are clean and very well maintained with the only problem being design. While the hotel is great from the outside and the common spaces are updated the rooms themselves feel a bit dated. Regardless of the design though they are comfortable and offer nice bathrooms.

The hotel’s fitness center is especially nice and the staff always maintained a happy but professional attitude.

It’s super close to the airport so the free shuttle runs frequently and quickly between the hotel to the airport.

Overall it’s a nice middle price range choice but we wish the rooms were a bit more sleek.

Amenities

  • Restaurant
  • Fitness Center
  • Dry Cleaning
  • Daily Housekeeping
  • Meeting Spaces
  • No Pets

7. Best Western at O’Hare

Price Range: Low

Now the Best Western at O’Hare should be on the radar of every traveler who just wants something inexpensive. It is the cheapest hotel on this list and we really wanted to include something from the bottom of the price range.

There are other motels and cheap options around the airport, however, they are generally similarly priced to the Best Western. When it comes to this bottom-of-the-barrel pricing this hotel takes the lead.

It’s not great by any stretch of the imagination but it’s definitely passable. You’ll get a simple cheap room with a comfy bed. If this is what you are looking for then choose the Best Western and skip the other cheap hotels.

Amenities

  • Free Breakfast
  • Free Parking
  • Gym
  • Conference Room
  • Free Wi-Fi

8. Hyatt Rosemont

Price Range: Mid

The Hyatt Rosemont is another nice choice among the hotels near O’Hare airport with a free shuttle in the middle price range. It is priced slightly in the lower area of the midrange pricing.

We are once again faced with some dated rooms but we’ve at least found them clean for the most part. The beds are quite nice actually as they offer a comfortable night’s sleep.

The staff is also very nice and friendly. Whenever there’s something missing they are happy to help out.

The main downside of this place is the amenities. There’s no free breakfast like in many other places and the free shuttle is not 24/7. The shuttle runs from 6 am to 10:30 pm. Not great if you are flying during odd hours.

This hotel is a true middle ground. It does not really excel in anything but it’s not bad either. You’ll have an okay time staying here, especially if you are collecting Hyatt points.

Amenities

  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Restaurant
  • Gym
  • Laundry
  • Meeting Rooms

9. Courtyard by Marriott Chicago O’Hare

Price Range: Mid

The Courtyard by Marriott Chicago O’Hare Hotel is an excellent midrange hotel near O’Hare Airport with a free shuttle.

It might not be the newest building around town but they have nice facilities. We really liked the pool with its beautiful side glass panels. There’s also a hot tub next to the pool which is nice.

This is a good place to bring the family in case you need a quick airport hotel due to a cancellation. Kids can have fun at the pool.

When it comes to the rooms this hotel is pretty unremarkable. Don’t get us wrong, the rooms are fine. They have plenty of space and the bathrooms are okay but the overall room design is very bland.

Unfortunately, free breakfast is not included with each stay which is a real shame. Otherwise, it’s a fine choice.

Amenities

  • Indoor Pool
  • Hot Tub
  • Free Wifi
  • Meeting Spaces
  • Fitness Center
  • Restaurant
  • Dry Cleaning
  • Laundry
  • Gift Shop

10. Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago

Price Range: Mid-High

We’ve already taken a look at one Hyatt hotel. It was not the most impressive place ever but there’s another one near O’Hare. The Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago is more expensive but it also offers more for visitors.

Finally, we can once again say that this is a modern hotel. Not only do the common areas look great the rooms themselves are pretty good. The design follows a minimalistic approach but it’s perfect for an airport hotel.

Families and business travelers are both leave satisfied with a short or longer stay. It’s definitely a quality option and if you don’t mind the slightly higher price range then you’ll have a nice time.

Amenities

  • Free Wifi
  • Restaurant
  • Breakfast Buffet
  • Complimentary Tea and Coffee
  • Dry Cleaning
  • Convenience Store
  • Meeting Rooms
  • Conference Facilities

11. Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel

Price Range: Mid-High

Finally, we have another hotel that’s a bit more expensive than most others on the list. If comfort is important for you however then you should not be put off from the slightly higher price.

This hotel has a very upscale atmosphere. The design of the common spaces and the rooms are all very detailed. It’s always pleasing to the eye.

We are especially satisfied with the rooms themselves. It’s always a pleasure to have nicely designed and comfortable living spaces in a hotel.

This may be an expensive hotel but if the price doesn’t matter that much then this is definitely one of the best choices on the list.

Amenities

  • Free Wifi
  • Fitness Center
  • Pet Friendly
  • Business Center
  • Conference Facilities
  • Restaurant
