ToggleIn 2021 there are a total of 11 restaurants on Menorca that has managed to make it into the guide with an award. The first thing we have to say is that as of 2021, there are no Michelin Star restaurants on the island.
Among the restaurants that are in the Michelin Guide, there is one that received the Bib Gourmand symbol. The other 10 restaurants are all awarded The Plate MICHELIN.

Bib Gourmand Restaurants in Menorca
The Bib Gourmand symbol was created based on the Michelin mascot. It marks restaurants that serve excellent food but at moderate pricing.
Smoix – Ciutadella
Price range: €30 to €48
The only restaurant in Menorca to receive the Bib Gourmand award is Smoix in Ciutadella. The Michelin Guide highlights the uniqueness and personality of Smoix.
It’s a restaurant that’s inside an ex-jewelry factory. The menu is based on local and seasonal ingredients. According to the guide, the must-have item is the ‘Dublin bay prawn ravioli’.
The Plate MICHELIN Restaurants in Menorca
A new symbol, The Plate MICHELIN was established in 2016. This symbol marks restaurants that serve good food. It’s a simple feature, to highlight restaurants that worth a visit from you.
Rels – Ciutadella
Price range: €25 to €60
You can find Rels Restaurant in Ciutadella. It’s a good choice if you are looking to eat in a modern environment. The bistro-like interior presents a clean and sleek atmosphere.
According to the guide, the chefs of Rels have returned home to Menorca. They have been around the world to hone their cooking skills. Now they are ready to run their own restaurant. In Rels you can get amazing Menorcan meals with a modern twist.
Mon Restaurant – Ciutadella
Price range: €28 to €60
The Michelin guide highlights Mon Restaurant for its modern menu and quality ingredients. You can enjoy regional cuisine and local tastes in a pleasant setting.
The restaurant is conveniently located within Ciutadella with a big patio and seating area.
Es Cranc – Fornells
Price range: €40 to €80
We are now moving away from Ciutadella. The next restaurant on the list is Es Cranc, located in Fornells.
As it’s located in the lovely fishing town of Fornells you can expect to be served with excellent seafood inside. The Michelin guide highlights the quality of the meals.
Ca na Pilar – Es Migjorn Gran
Price range: €45 to €55
Ca na Pilar can be found in Es Migjorn Gran. It’s a somewhat central location on the island. Can be a good restaurant to book a dinner when you are in the area.
The guide mentions the amazing local tastes and capable menu. The traditional Menorcan meals are a great choice in Ca na Pilar.
Torralbenc – Cala en Porter
Price range: €50 to €79
The next restaurant on the list is Torralbenc in the town of Cala en Porter. It’s a great rustic restaurant with a lovely intimate atmosphere. The restaurant uses a renovated farmhouse.
As per the guide, you can get classic Menorcan or modern contemporary meals at Torralbenc. The setting and the good cooking make this restaurant an easy recommendation.
Es Molí de Foc – Sant Climent
Price range: €45 to €70
Es Molí de Foc is a great choice to try the local meals. It has a lovely rustic setting inside a historical mill. As the Michelin guide points out there are two menus at the restaurant. One is for all the modern dishes and the other one is for especially rice-based meals. These rice dishes are the restaurant’s specialty.
Sa Pedrera d’es Pujol – Sant Lluís
Price range: €50 to €75
We have two restaurants in Sant Lluis that have received The Plate award. One of them is the Sa Pedrera d’es Pujol. According to the Michelin guide, this is an elegant restaurant, that has in-house, a very nice selection of wines.
The guide highlights that his restaurant has a very interesting menu. The owner created a place, where he wowed to revive old recipes. However, in Sa Pedrera d’es Pujol they are given a modern twist.
Pan y Vino – Sant Lluís
Price range: €38 to €55
Pan y Vino is the other MICHELIN Plate restaurant in this little village. Once again we have an elegant setting on our hands to enjoy a fine dinner. The main theme in the restaurant is French cuisine.
According to the guide it’s a very lovely setting, in a classic Menorcan village building.
Ses Forquilles – Mahón
Price range: €10 to €20
When you are in Mahón, you can try out Ses Forquilles. It’s a simple restaurant with very affordable pricing. The guide mentions that although the setting is basic, the food is amazing. They use fresh ingredients and add a personal touch to the local classics.
